Comcast leaders Lynette Nunez and Tatiana Arguello were recently featured on the sixth season of the STEMblazers Podcast, where they shared details about their background, education, leadership journey, and more.

STEMblazers inspires girls to visualize themselves in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math careers by interviewing exceptional female STEM professionals who share their stories, insight, and words of encouragement to inspire the next generation of young women.

Lynette Nunez is the Vice President of Technology and Strategic Project Management for Comcast’s West Division and also sits on the STEMblazers board of directors. She offered this advice for girls pursuing a STEM career: Develop a strong work ethic – it will set you apart from others. “Work hard every day, come in with a great attitude wanting to learn, and good things will happen,” said Lynette.

Lynette encourages young girls to leverage the tools they have in order to learn as much as possible. She states, “Be open to developing relationships with people that can help you, because it’s so powerful.”

Tatiana Arguello is the President and General Manager of Telemundo Colorado and Telemundo Utah. Tatiana shares the importance of connecting communities and bringing your authentic self to the table.

“As a Latina professional who has worked her way up through NBCUniversal and Telemundo, be proud of who you are and where you came from and get involved in the conversation. Bringing your full identity to the work that you do is critically important.”

When asked about what advice she’d share for someone who is intimidated by an opportunity or upcoming change, Tatiana said “It’s important to lean into the people you trust, don’t be afraid, and surround yourself with people you can talk to and can help you home in on your strengths.”
