Can you imagine a future where all children have the opportunity to become digital experts? From collaborating with online tools, to cloud software, to coding, digital skills can help unlock a better future, particularly for kids and teens from underserved communities. While many kids are “digital natives” and can perform basic technical tasks, they still have to develop the digital skills needed to thrive in 21st-century classrooms and careers.
Comcast NBCUniversal is committed to increasing access to technology and providing skills to help all individuals fully participate in the digital economy. In 2014, we partnered with Boys & Girls Club of America to launch My.Future, an interactive digital platform teaching critical digital and computer skills to Club members. Through our year-round work with Clubs located across the state of Colorado, we help youth discover new passions or view their current hobbies through a new, digital lens.
Comcast is proud to support My.Future programming and valuable learning opportunities for youth at the following Boys & Girls Clubs in Colorado:
- Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver
- Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County
- Boys & Girls Clubs of Weld County
- Boys & Girls Clubs of Pueblo County
- Boys & Girls Clubs of the Pikes Peak Region
- Fort Carson Child & Youth Services Center
- Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest Colorado
My.Future is a safe, fun, and interactive platform that enables kids to create online accounts they can use to learn, play and socialize. To read more about our partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs across the U.S. and the My.Future program click here.
My.Future is one of the many ways we partner with local Boys & Girls Clubs throughout the year. Several of our senior leaders serve on their boards and hundreds of our employees volunteer their time at Clubs each spring on Comcast Cares Day.
