Comcast, in partnership with Telemundo Colorado, recently donated laptops to participants of Mile High United Way’s Bridging the Gap program during a festive holiday celebration. This initiative is part of Comcast’s ongoing commitment to bridge the digital divide through Project UP, the company’s initiative to advance digital opportunity and build a future of unlimited possibilities.

The donation of 103 laptops will directly benefit young adults aged 18-24 who are transitioning out of the foster care system. The Bridging the Gap program empowers these individuals with critical resources, including housing, family support coaching, and digital tools, to help them achieve their goals in education, employment, and economic stability.

“Our partnership with Mile High United Way’s Bridging the Gap program underscores Comcast’s deep commitment to bridging the digital divide and supporting our local communities,” said J.D. Keller, Regional Senior Vice President, Comcast Mountain West Region, and Mile High United Way Board of Trustees Member. “By donating laptops, we’re providing essential tools for education and career success, helping young adults in Denver build brighter futures and thrive as our community’s future leaders.”

“Recognizing the critical role that the Bridging the Gap program plays in providing digital tools and opportunities for young adults, Telemundo Colorado is thrilled to partner with Comcast and Mile High United Way,” said Tatiana Argüello, President and General Manager of Telemundo Colorado, and Mile High United Way Board of Trustees Member. “Together, we’re ensuring that young adults in Colorado have the resources they need to overcome barriers and achieve their dreams, empowering the next generation of innovators and leaders.”

Comcast’s dedication to digital inclusion has made a significant impact in Colorado, with more than $37.6 million in cash and in-kind contributions donated to nonprofit and community partners over the past three years.
