The heart of Olympic City USA pulsed with excitement as the city came together to celebrate Downtown Summer Fest on July 27. Organized by the Colorado Springs Sports Corporation and the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum, the event showcased the city’s vibrant spirit and community support for Team USA.
Kicking off the day was the Rocky Mountain 5K, where participants dashed across the starting line, setting the tone for a day of thrilling festivities. Following the race, attendees crossed the Park Union Bridge to the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum for a Paris 2024 kickoff celebration. The event featured a variety of sports and cultural demonstrations, live music, and engaging activities hosted by over 40 partners and vendors.
