Denver Broncos Foundation and Comcast Team Up to Tackle the Digital Divide in Pueblo

The Denver Broncos Foundation and Comcast Colorado recently teamed up to provide tech donations to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Pueblo County.

On June 14, 2023, the Broncos and Comcast hosted a picnic for kids at the Sprague Boys & Girls Club in Pueblo. Former Broncos players, Ebenezer Ekuban and Nick Ferguson, along with Broncos cheerleaders and the team’s mascot, Miles, were in attendance to greet club members and help them with educational activities.

Together, the Denver Broncos Foundation and Comcast donated $20,000 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Pueblo County for technological resources. The Sprague Boys & Girls Club is also one of Comcast’s Lift Zone community connection centers, where people can access free Wi-Fi to do their homework, learn digital skills and take part in other educational activities.

As technology advances, digital connectivity is one of the biggest priorities for our community,” says David Salazar, Comcast’s Mountain West Region Vice President for Sales and  Marketing. “Our shared commitment with the Denver Broncos Foundation and The Boys and Girls Clubs of Pueblo County to ensuring more families have the access, skills and resources to be connected, will help build a future of unlimited possibilities for families throughout Pueblo County.”
