In celebration of the leadership potential and academic success of outstanding students in our communities, Comcast recently awarded 30 students across Colorado with $75,000 in scholarships for the 2019-20 academic year as part of the Comcast NBCUniversal annual Leaders and Achievers Scholarship Program

The Leaders and Achievers Scholarship Program recognizes high school seniors in Colorado and across the country for outstanding character, integrity, academic achievement and a commitment to community service.

Each student receives a one-time, $2,500 scholarship to be used toward undergraduate education-related expenses. Since 2001, the program has awarded more than $33 million to nearly 30,000 high school seniors across the country.

“These Leaders and Achievers Scholarship winners in Colorado have already shown outstanding potential in academics and community engagement,” said Rich Jennings, West Division Senior Vice President of Field Operations. “I am inspired by them, and we are confident these are the leaders who will propel our communities into the future. It’s a privilege to support them as they continue on their educational journeys.”

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be highlighting these outstanding Colorado students on our social media channels. Follow us at @ComcastColo on Twitter and @Comcast on Facebook to hear their remarkable stories.
