Comcast Opens New 600 Seat Customer Support Center in Fort Collins

As part of our ongoing commitment to provide an outstanding customer experience, Comcast along with leaders from the City of Fort Collins and the Fort Collins Chamber of Commerce celebrated the grand opening of its Fort Collins customer support center.

The state-of-the-art 80,000 square-foot facility has the capacity to seat approximately 600 customer service agents. The new center will provide customer support for Comcast residential services for customers from across the country – including those in Northern Colorado.

Comcast has been hiring for the new positions and providing comprehensive training to team members for nearly six months. With the addition of the call center, Comcast will have nearly 9,000 employees throughout Colorado.

The grand opening emphasized Comcast’s continued investment in Colorado. Since 1996, Comcast has invested more than $7 billion in technology and infrastructure in Colorado, including over $300 million in network investment in the last five years. Additionally, last year Comcast contributed more than $15.5 million in financial and in-kind resources to 200 community organizations across Colorado.

“Comcast’s decision to locate this facility in Fort Collins showcases Northern Colorado for our talented workforce and resources,” said Fort Collins Mayor Wade Troxell.

“Comcast is committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience at every interaction with our company,” added Rich Jennings, Senior Vice President of Comcast’s Mountain West Region. “Our company’s and our employees’ investment and involvement in Fort Collins and the Northern Colorado community bring us a step closer to delivering an excellent customer experience.”

“Comcast is already a great partner in Fort Collins and the region” said David May, President & CEO of the Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce.  “The opening of this new facility will help Northern Colorado’s talented and skilled workforce continue to grow and thrive.”

Comcast also announced a $10,000 grant for Fort Collins-based Neighborhoods United to help local at-risk youth obtain the school supplies they need to succeed in the upcoming school year.

Neighborhoods United works in partnership with local schools and agencies to provide resources and support for children at risk who might be unable to find the help they need any other way.  From helping families find housing and providing dental care for children experiencing homelessness to supporting therapeutic programs for children with disabilities, Neighborhoods United is there to provide critical services and support.
