We have teamed up with The Regional Transportation District (RTD) to provide free Xfinity Wi-Fi in the Union Station underground transit center.
Patrons of RTD can now stay connected while waiting to catch RTD buses and rail. To access the free Wi-Fi, enable Wi-Fi on your device, select “xfinitywifi” network and open the browser and begin. Service can be used for up to two hours. Comcast High Speed Internet and Mobile customers have unlimited use.
“Empowering people to do more and enjoy more of what they love whenever, wherever is at the heart of what we do at Comcast,” said Comcast Senior Vice President of the Mountain West Region Rich Jennings. “This partnership with RTD allows people to do just that – connect to get the information they need and want while on the go.”
RTD is modernizing their facilities for the future, and offering free Wi-Fi while commuting allows commuters to stay connected when in transit.
“RTD strives to provide conveniences and technology that will enhance a passenger’s experience in our expanding transit system,” said RTD Assistant General Manager of Communications, Scott Reed. “We think our customers will find this feature convenient and reliable.”
