See You at Denver Startup Week!

Next week, innovators, leaders and business owners across industries will convene in Denver to celebrate the best in creativity and entrepreneurship at Denver Startup Week 2017.

Are you a small business owner? A web developer or designer? A marketing and communications maven? Denver Startup Week includes a variety of sessions that will appeal to anyone looking to gain a creative edge and get inspired by fellow thinkers.

Min Choi and Brian DeLevie, the co-directors of the Comcast Media and Technology Center at the University of Colorado Denver (UCD), will join Comcast executives Matt McConnell and Cindy Parsons, as well as several other innovators as panelists for the session “How to Leverage Public-Private Partnerships to Help Your Business Grow” on Monday, Sept. 25. Using the Comcast Media and Technology Center at UCD as an example, the Comcast team will show participants how organizations have the opportunity to develop dynamic partnerships and solutions to help with everyday workflows and business or product development and build a skilled workforce pipeline and connection with our community.

Did you know many of our now common technology, like the typewriter, were initially developed from a startup mindset as a tool to help with accessibility and communication?  Come find out more on Tuesday, Sept. 26, when Tom Wlodkowski, vice president of accessibility for Comcast, presents during the session “Launching Startups Within Your Company.” Tom and representatives from KPMG and Healthgrades will discuss how companies of all sizes can use their “startup” structure to promote collaboration and innovation to reach broader audiences and have a sustainable impact in our community.

As a presenting sponsor, Comcast is excited to be engaged in a variety of events throughout the week.
