Comcast NBCUniversal Connects Colorado During a Four-Day Race and Celebration

Connection is crucial – whether it’s connecting individuals to the power of the internet at home or connecting throngs of people to Wi-Fi during the Colorado Classic bike race and Velorama festival. Comcast NBCU is committed to connecting individuals through innovation, involvement and investment in the communities in which we work and live by providing unique information and entertainment experiences.

This August, Comcast NBCU joined forces with RPM Events Group to provide a positive social and economic impact to the estimated 30,000 people in attendance at the multi-day race and festival that brought new fans to the sport of professional cycling.

During the four-stage cycling race with some of the best racers in the world and three-day festival with music, local beer and food – Comcast NBCU connected fans and families to the internet with the Wi-Fi on wheels van. The van traveled from Colorado Springs to downtown Denver in the RiNo neighborhood, ensuring everyone was rocking and racing all along the way.

Whether working to connect one person or a crowd of thousands, Comcast is dedicated to providing the fastest, most reliable speeds so Colorado residents can stay connected with the information and entertainment that matters most to them in the most convenient way possible.
